The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia will adopt a new edition of the Red Book of the Russian Federation by the Day of Ecologist ( June 5th 2017),  the head of department, Sergey Donskoy announced.

The ministry is planning to approve the first volume of the Red Book, which is dedicated to animals. After that, time will be needed for publication and distribution of the volume, the minister said.
