Automatic air pollution control stations will be built in Sibay and Salavat

In Bashkiria, work continues on equipping enterprises with automated sensors for monitoring air pollution and installing automated monitoring stations.

According to the Interim Minister of Nature Management and Ecology RB Mirhaydar Fatkhullin, recent events in Sibay once again proved the need for further improvement of atmospheric air. Currently, work is underway to establish automated air pollution control stations in the cities of Salavat and Sibay.

Last year, two more stations were built to the existing four ones in Ufa and Sterlitamak. According to the data for 2017, the Republic of Bashkortostan ranked first in the Volga Federal District and seventh in Russia in terms of emissions to the atmospheric air.
