Leading experts from 12 countries gathered in the international platform.
NARIMAN MUKUSHEV, KAZAKH VICE MINISTER OF LABOR AND SOCIAL PROTECTION OF POPULATION:
– We do not see the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in our area, but this does not mean that we will not see them in the future. If we find an interesting case or a situation where it will help citizens or the state to work better, we will certainly think about its application. At the conference, apart from IoT, we discussed technologies such as block chain, artificial intelligence and how these technologies can be actively applied in the labor world.
During the summit, innovative smart solutions that are used to define underground communications were presented. This project is being implemented in Astana, Almaty and Shymkent. Developers are planning to create interactive maps of the underground infrastructure.
SEILBEK ASANOV, PROJECT MANAGER:
– As part of this project, work is conducted in large cities in Kazakhstan. Using this technology, the largest company engaged in construction of gas pipelines, could save up to 13 per cent of budgetary funds. As part of the summit, a competition of innovative projects titled ‘Startup Day’ was organized. Innovators from Kazakhstan, Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States took part in the contest.
